Who is ineligible for Permanent makeup (PMU)?

  • Under the age of 18

  • Pregnant or Nursing

  • Skin diseases in area of treatment (Shingles,Eczema, Psoriasis, Roseacea)

  • History of keloids

  • Accutane in the past year

  • Botox 2 weeks prior to appointment. (Best to get Botox after brows heal.)

Does it hurt?

We use a 5% lidocaine throughout the procedure to make you feel comfortable. Pain tolerance varies from client to client, and some clients feel a slight discomfort. Having the. Procedure done during your menstrual cycle may increase sensitivity.

What to expect immediately after appointment?

After appointment you may experience redness or swelling around the treated area, which typically subsides within 24hrs. Within the following hours the pigment in the skin will darken, making the brows look bolder. Once healed the brows will lighten 20%. Around day 3-4 you may notice light flaking on the treated area. Please refrain from picking. Doing do may result in loss of pigment in those areas. Brows may appear spotty or patchy until healed (typically around day 10). The skin will normalize within 4-6 weeks and the pigment will return to the skin in its healed color. Whatever pigment does not return will be addressed at your touch up appointment. During this appointment we will discuss retention, touch up spots, and can adjust pigment color for you final result.
